White House Area Chamber of Commerce Welcomes New Intern

The White House Area Chamber of Commerce is proud towelcome a new intern to the staff, Meagan Woodis. Woodis is a senior atWestern Kentucky University and will be graduating in December with a degree in Public Relations and a minor in Entrepreneurship. Woodis has grown up in White House and is passionate about watching the city grow. “I am very thankful that I have had the opportunity to grow up in such an amazing city. My heart is here in White House and the fact that I get to be a part of the many changes that are happening in town makes me even more excited to
call this place home,” Woodis said.

Woodis started her dual internship at the Goodlettsville Area Chamber of Commerce in early May and then transferred to the White House Area Chamber of Commerce in early July. During her internship Woodis will be exercising her marketing, photography, and writing skills to help promote upcoming events such as the Total Solar Eclipse in August. “My ultimate goal that I want to achieve during this internship is to learn how a Public Relations specialist is used in the day-to- day activity of the Chamber. Another goal is to get the White House community involved in the many events the Chamber has planned, I want them to Discover White House,” Woodis said.
