White House, TN – The White House Area Chamber of Commerce is now accepting applications for its 2026 Educator Innovation + Enhancement Grant, an initiative designed to encourage, promote, and support innovative and creative educational opportunities while enhancing workforce development within the White House area school systems.
Educators and eligible organizations are invited to apply for funding to support impactful projects that enrich student learning and provide lasting benefits within the classroom and school community.
Application Deadline: May 21, 2026 at 4:00 PM
All applications must be completed in full and include principal approval. To be considered for funding, proposals must receive a score of 80 or higher based on the Education Initiative Committee’s grading rubric.
Eligibility and Funding Details:
Grant proposals may be submitted by educators instructing at K-12 schools within the White House area. Individual project funding is capped at $1,000, though proposals exceeding this amount may be considered for partial funding. Collaborative group proposals involving two or more teachers may be considered for funding up to $2,500.

Applications may also be submitted by outside organizations such as PTOs, after-school programs, or extracurricular clubs; however, proposals submitted by teachers will receive higher consideration during the evaluation process.
Guidelines and Requirements:
Proposals requesting equipment already provided by the school district will not be considered unless applicants provide documentation demonstrating an unmet need and that all existing district resources have been fully utilized.
Applicants are encouraged to submit proposals focused on resources or projects that offer long-term value beyond a single academic year.
Grant funds may not be used to compensate teachers or staff. All resources purchased through grant funding will become the property of the recipient’s school.
Applicants who received grant funding during the 2025 to 2026 school year are not eligible to apply for the 2026 cycle.
