At the beginning of the year, the White House Area Chamber of Commerce held their first ever photo contest. This contest was a way for the White House community to get out around town and capture the awesome city in which they live.
Overall, there were more than 80 entries entered into this year’s contest. Individuals sent in photos of the Greenway, wildlife, sunsets, and even portraits of White House citizens. After publishing the photos to the White House Area Chamber of Commerce’s Facebook page, they let the community decide on which top five should be chosen to be put on a canvas and hung up in the Chambers main lobby.
The winners are as followed:
- Michael Bull: Photo of deer in field and hay bale in field with sunset.
- Rus Tipton: Photo of Greenway with leaves changing colors
- Lindsae Faulkner: Photo of a field running along the Greenway
- Rebecca Johnson: Photo of the man on a tractor
The Chamber wants to thank everyone again for entering this year’s photo contest and say congratulations to all the winners! They can’t wait to see what photos are sent in next year.
