Music City Drum Corps, one of the nation’s premier marching music
ensembles, is nearing completion of their residency at White House High School for spring
training rehearsals ahead of the 2025 Drum Corps International (DCI) Summer Tour.
Since May 30, the corps has called White House home as they rehearse, learn
drill and choreography, and prepare for their summer season. The community is invited to stop
by and see the group in action during this time, with rehearsals taking place daily across the
White House High School campus.
As a capstone to their month-long stay, the public is warmly invited to attend the Friends and
Family performance on Friday, June 21 at Dewey H. Whitson Stadium. This special event
will showcase the ensemble’s 2025 production in its final form before they depart for tour — a
must-see for anyone interested in the power and pageantry of the marching arts.
Comprised of 165 talented young performers representing more than 26 states and Puerto Rico,
Music City Drum Corps has spent nearly three weeks in White House preparing for a nationwide
summer tour that includes more than 80 competitive events. Their season will culminate August
7–9 at the DCI World Championships held at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.
“We’re thrilled to be welcomed by the White House High School community,” said Chaz
Bledsoe, Corps Director of Music City Drum Corps. “This campus provides the ideal
environment for our members to rehearse, grow, and build the unity and excellence needed for
a successful season.”
The organization offers life-changing experiences through music performance, leadership
training, and character development for its members aged 16–21.
Tour stops on Music City’s 2025 DCI Tour include:
● Nashville, TN – July 25
● Atlanta, GA – July 26
● Sevierville, TN – July 7
