Becky Jenkins serves on the White House Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors with a true spirit of service and community pride. She shares that her decision to serve comes from a heartfelt desire to give back to the community that has supported her throughout her entire life. Having grown up here, she reflects on the ways White House has loved her so well through childhood, youth, and now adulthood, and she sees her board service as a way to give back and invest in the next generation.
In her day-to-day role, Becky serves as the Children’s Ministry Director at Temple Baptist Church (templetoday.com). She leads ministries and programs for
children from birth through 6th grade, overseeing Mother’s Day Out, Vacation Bible School, and countless community outreach events that bring joy and connection to families. Her leadership extends beyond church walls, creating opportunities for children and parents to feel welcomed, cared for, and engaged in meaningful activities.
Those who know Becky well recognize that she is always one of the first to volunteer when the Chamber calls on board members to lend a hand. Whether it is stepping in at events, supporting community initiatives, or encouraging others to get involved, Becky brings an energy and willingness to serve that strengthens our organization. Her dedication exemplifies the spirit of cooperation and teamwork that makes the Chamber thrive.
Outside of her professional and volunteer commitments, Becky treasures her local community and enjoys spending time at The Blue Daisy at Home Sweet Home, one of her favorite hidden gems in White House. She also describes herself in three words: efficient, effective, and cooperative. These qualities are evident in every aspect of her work and service.
Becky Jenkins is an incredible asset to the Board of Directors and to the White House community. Her commitment to children, families, and her hometown shines through in all she does, and we are grateful for the countless ways she gives of her time, talents, and heart.
