Board Member Spotlight: Lavonne Elliott

By November 30, 2025No Comments

This month we are proud to feature Lavonne Elliott, Family and Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, owner of NP Clinic, and the 2025 Chairman of the Board for the White House Area Chamber of Commerce. Lavonne is a passionate healthcare provider and a committed community leader whose story is rooted in resilience, service, and an unwavering belief in the power of small-town connection.

Lavonne joined the Chamber because she believes deeply in supporting the people and businesses who make White House such a special place to live. For her, small towns thrive on relationships, and the Chamber provides a place where those relationships can grow. She values being part of a group that prioritizes integrity, service, and community and she is honored to contribute to the shared vision for the future of White House. As Chairman of the Board, Lavonne is excited to help strengthen partnerships, support local growth, and champion meaningful opportunities for the area.

Professionally, Lavonne serves the community as a Family and Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and the owner of NP Clinic. Her clinic is unique in its ability to care for patients across physical and mental health needs, offering primary care, urgent care, and mental health treatment in one place. Lavonne takes great pride in providing care that supports the whole person and loves building long-term relationships with individuals and families throughout White House.

When she is not working with patients or collaborating with Chamber leaders, Lavonne enjoys supporting other small local businesses. One of her favorite places in town is The Prescription Shoppe, where she appreciates the personal, small-town service they give her family and her patients.

Lavonne describes herself as caring, motivated, and determined. These traits are not only reflected in her leadership and patient care but also in her personal journey. Many people are surprised to learn that she was not a strong student in high school and did not initially plan to attend college. After enrolling in a program that required her to earn her GED, she discovered in her twenties that determination mattered more than being naturally smart. Through hard work, resilience, and a commitment to keep moving forward, she built a path that led to her career in nursing, advanced degrees, and ultimately the opening of her own clinic. This experience shaped her belief that success comes from perseverance and purpose.

Lavonne’s dedication to her patients, her business, and her community make her an exceptional leader and a tremendous asset to our Board of Directors. We are proud to spotlight her this month and grateful for the impact she continues to make in White House.
