We are so excited that we are starting to see some normalcy back in our community! Below you will find a list of restaurants, retail shops and services with updated hours of operation as well as other changes made in light of COVID-19.   • Governor Lee’s Executive Order #30 | Governor Lee issued Executive Order #30 allowing retail establishments and gyms to reopen on Friday. He encourages Tennessee employers and residents to take the pledge. Click here to view full Executive Order. 
  • City of White House Guidance | The City of White House will follow Governor Lee’s Executive Orders regarding when certain industries should re-open and suggest business owners to do the same. Since guidance is provided only when data allows it, there are no specific dates for certain industries to open as of now. This means that it may be a short notice when a specific industry is allowed to open. The City of White House urges every business owner, employee, and citizen to read the current Executive Order to completely inform themselves on reopening businesses in Tennessee and White House  The City of White House will do the following through May   31st, or later depending on data and recommendations: 1. The White House Public Library will remain closed to the public. 2. The White House Inn Museum will remain closed to the public. 3. The Senior Center will remain closed. 4. The gym located in the Billy S. Hobbs Municipal Center will remain closed. 5. No organized youth or adult sporting activities until otherwise posted by the City. 6. All baseball/softball and soccer fields, volleyball and basketball courts, playgrounds, and dog _ park will remain closed. 7. Splash Pad will remain closed. 8. Reservations for facilities and special event permits will not be issued. | | | The City would like to remind citizens that we are all in this together. Please keep practicing social distancing, good hygiene, wearing cloth masks, and avoiding large gatherings. If everyone follows these guidelines, the sooner more businesses can open.

Reopening Tennessee Responsibly | The “Tennessee Pledge” is a plan to help Tennesseans return to work in a safe environment, restore their livelihoods, and reboot our state’s economy. The plan was developed by Gov. Bill Lee, the Unified Command Group, and Tennessee’s Economic Recovery Group, with input from health experts, state and local partners, and business and industry leaders. (TN.gov)
