On Sunday August 20, bring your blankets and lawn chairs for a fun, family evening! The White House Chamber of Commerce will be showing Star Wars The Force Awakens at their Movie Under the Stars event. This is a community wide event and is an effort to get everyone geared up for the total solar eclipse that will be taking place the next day.
The Chamber will be partnering with the Youth Soccer program to provide concessions as a fundraiser for their year ahead. “White House Youth Soccer believes partnering with the community on events like Discover Totality gives us the opportunity to showcase what our organization is all about,” White House Youth Soccer Commissioner and Volunteer State Bank Branch Manager Jana Spicer said. There will be a costume contest, fun prizes, and character visits that will make for great photo opportunities!
This free event will take place at the Soccer Complex located off of 31W in White House. Gates open at 5:30pm and the movie will begin at 7:45pm. For further questions, please call the Chamber at 615-672- 3937.
