On August 21, 2017 White House, Tennessee will experience a total solar eclipse with a duration of 2 minutes, 39 seconds one of the longest periods of Totality in Tennessee. It has been almost 500 years since this area has experienced a total solar eclipse and will be nearly 500 more before totality is experienced in White House. The White House Area Chamber of Commerce will host an eclipse viewing event at the Soccer Complex located at 2760 Old Highway 31W, White House, TN 37188.
Attendees can expect concessions, food trucks, education stations, a selfie with the sun station from our friends at Bee Visual Events and more. Bring your lawn chair and blanket to set up for this historic day. On site parking will be $10 and lots will open at 9 am.
